Talk to your doctor if you are using marijuana cannabis. Alcohol can also increase your risk of liver problems while you are taking this drug. This medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. I also take Methotrexate, along with Plaquenil plus many others and I don't drink any alcohol. Then again, this is an individual decision. I would run it by my doctor and see if they thought it was ok. You then could either drink a little wine, or abstain. I have read where a glass of wine OCCASIONALLY wouldn't hurt.
